Martin Luther was a strong advocate for children being taught the faith. So much so that he wrote what we today call Luther’s Small Catechism. This was a handbook he gave to parents so that they could teach their children what it means to be a Christian.

Today the congregation assists the parents in this role by providing Sunday morning opportunities for all ages, First Communion preparation, and Confirmation instruction.

All are staffed with caring, compassionate, and trained leaders who use a variety of resources provided by Zion.
