Zion once again invites you to join
in an extraordinary outreach!
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God's love.
Last year Zion sent over 40 shoeboxes overseas. Hopefully we can reach out to even more children this year. Here is a way you can make a difference in the lives of those children:
Pack a gift: A shoe box
filled with
small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to God's love.
Instructional brochures and boxes are available in the gathering room
or use your own shoebox. Instructions can also be found at
www.samaritanspurse.org. Please remember to give $7 or more per box to
cover shipping.
Pray: As you pack a shoe box for
a
child, please pray for the boy or girl who will receive it. Spread the
word so others will get involved too.
Deliver your shoebox: Please
bring
your shoebox to the gathering room by Wednesday, November 18. We
will
see that it gets to the drop off location to be shipped and delivered
to the children in time for Christmas!
