	Pastor John Mawhirter: pj1405@zionsandusky.org Welcome to our web site! I have been pastor at Zion since October, 1994. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio by Jack and Kate Mawhirter. I graduated from Capital University in 1981 and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1985. After serving Saint Paul, Coldwater and Saint Paul, Haskins, God called me to this vibrant, faithful congregation. My wife Dianne and our three boys, David, Nathan, and Aaron sustain, support and love me. In my spare time I golf, read, go to theater productions and enjoy life!
	Carolyn Steinfeldt, AiM: csteinfeldtaim@zionsandusky.org My main responsibilities revolve around education – Confirmation, Sunday School, Bible studies, VBS, Christmas program and family ministry. I also work with the Evangelism Committee. I am always looking for ways to make the Bible stories interesting and exciting for everyone. I’m a life-long Lutheran from Hartford City, Indiana and arrived in Sandusky in 2004 via Blue Springs, MO. Before attending seminary at Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, I was a middle school Family & Consumer Science teacher. My husband Bill and I have 2 children, Chris (Heather) who lives in Indiana and Juli (Rob) who is a pastor in Springfield, IL. We also have 5 grandchildren! It is our hope that you will come and see what goes on at Zion.
	Hallie Dessecker, Office Administrator: hdessecker@zionsandusky.org I was blessed to become part of the Zion staff in the fall of 2002. In 2008 I became a member of Zion and currently serve on the evangelism committee. On Sunday you may see me as a greeter, gathering host, usher and occasionally on the sound board – or just enjoying worship at the 10:30 service! I hail from Michigan (Marquette) and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a BS degree in secondary education. I continued my graduate work at NMU in business education. My husband, Bob and I consider ourselves “Sanduskians” as we have made this our home for over 30 years. Our 3 sons; Lee, Neil & Dirk graduated from Perkins High School. We all enjoy Cedar Point (especially the coasters), Lake Erie (jet skiing & boating with friends), our cottage in upper Michigan & our other passion, either as a family or individually, is golfing. We at Zion welcome you to visit and worship with us at one of our three services.
	Lori Harris, Secretary: loriharris@zionsandusky.org I am the newest staff member at Zion! My husband and I are from Michigan and have been in this area since 2005 on a part-time basis. In March 2010 we decided to make Ohio our permanent home. We love this area, especially the lake and beauty that surrounds Northwest Ohio. Our daughter, Jenni still lives in Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University, the team we support! I am very excited to be a part of this church community and look forward to meeting everyone. My hobbies include making jewelry, reading, cooking and baking, as well as fitness. You can find me in the office preparing bulletins, updating the website, and all the other duties my job entails. Please stop by and say "hello." I look foward to meeting you!
