WoMen's Fellowship

The Zion Women of the ELCA is comprised of several circles whose mission is to grow in Christian faith through Bible study and Christian fellowship, serve the Lord, the community, and the world through service and outreach.  All women are invited to  join together to celebrate their faith through the Mother-Child Pot Luck dinner held in May and their Advent celebration at the beginning of Advent. The women lead the annual Thankoffering Worship service each fall. There are opportunities for the women to participate in Eastern Conference events, NW Ohio Synod gatherings and the Region 6 Spiritual Gatherings. All women are welcome to attend any of these events.

In addition, there are 5 circles who gather for a variety of studies. They are:

Circle of Friends:  Meeting September through June on the first Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., they learn together from selected Bible studies.

Agape: Meet the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. to use the Lutheran Women Today as their study text.

Ephathatha:  Meets the first Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. in Zion’s library.  Bible study is led by Laura Stellhorn and taken from the Lutheran Women Today Bible studies.

Priscilla: Meets the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in articipants’ homes. The Bible studies are from the Lutheran Women Today.

Book Connection: The Book Connection meets monthly to discuss a book that has been designated and read ahead of time. All women are invited to be part of this ministry.
