The purpose of the Zion Foundation is to enhance the work of the church by establishing new ministries and opportunities, in addition to and apart from the general operation of the congregation; distributed in four areas: local, state, national and international.

The Zion Foundation was established to receive and administer bequests, estates, insurance, memorials and other assets from its members.

The Zion Foundation is managed by a five member board, consisting of the Senior Pastor, president of the Zion council, chairman of the Finance committee, an attorney who is a member of Zion and a member-at-large who is knowledgeable about finances and/or investments.
